When the tan was a compliment
Those winter mornings
When the layers defined strength
Those crowded corridoors
With a hundred stories
Those back benches
With so many mischiefs
Those games of 'catch me if u can'
Which defined the 'winner'...

Those Lunch Breaks
Which taught us sharing
Those long two periods
of the same subject
Playing football
With a plastic bottle...

One class and many monitors
One for Blackboard, other for the duster
One for discipline, another for attendance
One class and many stories
One for gossip, other for a fight
One of love, another of Unity...

The PTA meetings and the result days
The yellow cards and external memos
The Basketball matches and the madness
To defeat 'Modern' for sure, no matter...

The school picnics, the dress codes
A hundred stories taking a single twist
The early morning bus timings
The last period that defined freedom...

School life that seemed like a pain
Gradually became the most special time
School life that taught us so many lessons
Eventually became the most cherished memory...

Now with a million tasks to do everyday
Hearts to win and a hundred bills to pay
Drive till work and come back home to follow a routine
Life has just taken a form so mean...

Thinking practically and keeping limited friends
Doubting intentions and keeping account
Life has become so stressful and busy
That we dont even have the time to cherish memories...

So just sit down and relax
Call an old friend and talk
Life may not take a U turn
But you can atleast treasure what you still have...
