Chaand us raat kuch mukammal, kuch adhoora sa tha, Hawaa-on mein bikhra, imtihaan-e- ishq ka choora sa tha, Thi itni roshni us ek lamhe mein, Ki haqeeqat ka woh pal bhi dhundhla sa tha... Tha khayaalon ka shor, Aur khaamoshi bezubaan thi, Mil rahe thhe pehli daffa, Par wo pehli Mulaaqaat si kahaan thi, Jab khayaal unke poore kar Gaye mere alfaaz, Tab ek lamhe ko, unki nazar-e- mohabbat mujh par meherbaan thi... Thhe raaste anjaan, par Manzilein ban rahi thi, Baatein thi anginat, aur taqdeerein bandh rahi thi... Kehte Hain ek mulaqaat kaafi nahin hoti, Humsafar chunne ki koi taareekh nahin hoti, Par unse mil Kar Yun laga ki jhooth tha sab jo ab tak jiya, Zindagi Yun hi guzar jaati bewajah, agar tumse yeh raahein na mili hoti...

You are like that full moon night, For which I waited for, since childhood, To complete the poetry that I wrote as my fairy-tale... You are like that glass window, On which I never pasted any sticker and never painted, Because I loved looking through it... With you it's so easy to flow, So easy to just let go, Because you are you and that makes me believe that miracles happen...
