यह अंधेरे शायद बदलेंगे रोशनी के उजालों में, जब घुलेगा इन आँखों का नशा तेरी निगाहों के प्यालों में, बुझेगी प्यास इस बे-इकतियार दिल की उस पल माहेरूः, जब भरोगे तुम इन बाहों में तब ही मिलेगा सुकून, तुम्हारे हाथों में यह हाथ देकर हम खुशी से यह जहाँ छोड़ जाएँगे, खुदा ने चाहा तो हम किसी और बहाने आपकी ज़िंदगी में आएँगे.

भूलना चाहें तुम्हे तो तुम आ जाते हो फिर ख्वाबों में, तुम्हारे दिए हुए फूल अब भी मिल जाते हैं किताबों में, देखते हैं छुप छुप के तुमको, तुमने दूर किया है खुद से जो इतना हमको, बहाने से तुम्हारी तस्वीर देखते हैं, खुद को उम्मीद और दिलासे देते हैं, तुम्हे देखते हैं हर रोज़ इन तस्वीरों में तुम्हारी, बातें करते हैं लाखों इन तस्वीरों से तुम्हारी, खुद कहते हैं, खुद सुनते हैं अपनी ही बातें, तुम्हारे ख़यालों में गुज़रें मेरी यह रातें, आँखें बंद जब करते हैं तो अब भी तुम छा जाते हो निगाह में, तुम मेरे तसवउर में शामिल, तुम हो हर तरह मेरे मॅन में, तुम बढ़ चुके हो आगे, हमें भी कोई राह दे जाओ, तुमने तोड़ दिए सारे वादे, हमें भी ज़रा जीने की चाह दे जाओ.

कुछ बातें, अनकही सी, कुछ यादें, धुंधली सी, कुछ मौसम, ठहरे से, कुछ बूँदें, सूखी हुई, कुछ हवायें, बँधी हुई, कुछ खुश्बुएें, फैली हुई, कुछ आँसू, पलकों के पीछे, करवट बदलते, कुछ सपने बादलों के नीचे. कुछ मुसुराहटें, निराश होती हुई, कुछ आवाज़ें, खामोश होती हुई, कुछ एहसास, दिल में उतरते हुए, कुछ लम्हात, यादों में मोहब्बत के, आज सब याद आते हैं, दिल को, धड़कन को, यह समझाते हैं, तू ज़िंदगी के हर एहसास, हर पल में शामिल है, हर तरह से मेरी मोहब्बत के काबिल है, आज ज़िंदगी से कुछ ना चाहूं मैं तुझे पाकर, तुमने ज़िंदगी सवारी है ज़िंदगी में आकर.

The most beautiful things in life do not exist for a long time. We have our own beliefs in our own promises made to our selves and others. Beliefs with respect to relationships, dreams, aspirations, hopes, which succeed or fail, as their functioning and destiny is not under our control. We think what we like to think, we intend to believe things that make us feel good, by perceiving the unreal reality and the impossible true. In the end, we realize and understand that it is just an incubation of the mind, an illusion, that does nothing but brings temporary happiness to us, especially when we are lonely. We believe and think that the things that we desire would exist for ever, but there is nothing permanent in life. Every thing has an end, an expiry date. There comes a time when nothing can fill the void created between the mind and the heart. राह में है छाई ऐसी तन्हाई, खुद का साया भी पराया सा लगता है, जिस प्यार पे था भरोसा खुद से ज़ादा, अब वो बिछड़ा हुआ साया सा लगता है, हम छोड़ चले अपनी राहें एक अधूरी मंज़िल के लिए, कुछ मजबूर खुद से और कुछ अपने दिल के लिए. अपनों को खुद से दूर करते हुए, तोड़ा दिल के आगे मजबूर होते हुए, तेरे लिए सब गवाते रहे, सबसे दूर,और तेरे करीब आते रहे. जब यह जहाँ छोड़ दिया, तेरे लिए सबसे मूह मोड़ लिया, तूने कहा यह मोहब्बत नहीं, जो कुछ हुआ वो हक़ीक़त नहीं, दिल तोड़ के हमारा आप मुस्कुराते हुए, हाथ छुड़ा के दूर जाते हुए, हमें ही तन्हा कर गये, हम भी खामोश से खड़े रहे, दिल के टुकड़ों को समेत-ते रहे, शायद खुद को ही रुसवा कर गये. राह में है छाई ऐसी तन्हाई, खुद का साया भी पराया सा लगता है, जिस प्यार पे था भरोसा खुद से ज़ादा, अब वो बिछड़ा हुआ साया सा लगता है.

हवा का रुख है बदला , या जुड़ गई दो तकदीरें , कहने को गुज़रा एक लम्हा , पर बन गई यादें यह तसवीरें .... आईना है साफ़ पर, नज़र धुंधलाई सी है , सवाल हा आज पर , कल की फ़िक्र छाई सी है .. फिर आँखों में न खो जाएँ , मोहब्बत की लगाम को थामो , यूँ हम बहक न जाएँ , फिर न ऐसे मुस्कुराओ , तकदीरें बदलने के शौक रखने वाले का , ऐतबार करना चाहे दिल अब उपरवाले का ...
