When I woke up that morning, I saw his face resting on my palm. My hand was numb, but my heart was so full, that I looked at him and the time stood still. I caressed his hair and slightly kissed his nose, held his hand and brushed his brows. He looked beautiful! He opened his eyes and said in his deep voice, 'good morning' and I said, 'it is a good morning' !  We snuggled and cuddled and kissed each other. Got off the bed and brushed our teeth together. I told him to try my facewash and went out to put on my favourite playlist. He came out wearing the white hotel slippers, in a white towel around his waist, messy hair, and asked me if he could play something. He played a medley that had a mix of old classic Hindi songs and we got ready together singing along. Was it a good morning ? No, it was the best morning ! (2)  We dressed up and he wore my Varsity jacket. It looked better on him. And I wore his shades which looked better on me. We went out and it was slightly cold...

Kal hamari pehli mulaaqaat ka din hai, Yahi soch soch sau baar neend tooti hai meri,  Raat yeh guzarti hi nahin,  Jaise waqt se koi ranjish hai meri.  Kal hamari pehli mulaaqaat ka din hai,  Phone screen se hatt ke tumhe dekhungi kal main,  Kal shayad waqt tham jaayega,  Kuch is tarah aankhon mein tumhe bharungi kal main.  Kal hamari pehli mulaaqaat ka din hai,  Kya pehnu, bahut socha maine,  Par soch tumhare aage badh hi na saki,  Isliye tumse milne ki khushi se khud ko sajaaya hai maine...  Kal hamari pehli mulaaqaat ka din hai,  Baatein hongi ya khamoshi hogi,  Hosh hoga ya madhoshi hogi,  Tumhe soch bas muskura rahi hun, Main tumse milne kal aa rahi hun...

Kuch khat aise likhe tumko,  Jo kaagaz par utre nahin,  Meri raatein guzri soch ke tumko,  Din tum bin guzre nahin, Yun hi tukdon mein dekh kar tumko,  Tasveeron ko kaid kiya,  Humne khayaalon mein likh ke tumko,  Dil ke kalam se, aabaad kiya,  Chand pighla kuch, kuch surkh laali subha ki utri,  Par sab tumhare aage feeka sa laga,  Taareefein tumhari kar -  kar thake na yeh zubaan,  Shayari kam padd gayi toh tumko ghazal kaha.
